Wildcard SSL is now here

Any one using our cPanel hosting will know how useful it is to secure sub domains on their hosting. This feature has been available on cPanel since August 2016.

We introduced SSL on the Cloud SSD Hosting last year giving you the ability to secure you domains via Let’s Encrypt, however this only covered the domain not the sub domains.

We are please to announce that we have now added Let’s Encrypt wildcard certificates to the servers, so now when you create a new sub domain it will be automatically covered.

If you add a domain and the sub domain isn’t covered, this will be due to the fact that your certificate hasn’t renewed yet, if this is the case  go to SSL/TLS and delete the current certificate and then activate SSL again. It can take up to 30 minutes so please allow for this as your site will not be accessible during this time.

We hope you enjoy this new feature. Look out for some more big changes on the Cloud SSD Hosting coming over the next couple of weeks.
